Copyright and sourcing

This is an initial draft and needs legal review before it is relied upon.

Where the published material comes from

The directory is compiled from two sources and no others:

What listing owners send us. Details submitted through the add-a-listing form or the correction form, sent to us for publication in the directory.

Open-source intelligence (OSINT). Information already published on the open web and reachable by anyone without an account: public Google Maps listings, official registers and published lists, businesses' own websites and public accounts, and published announcements and press.

We collect nothing from behind a login, a paywall or a private group, and we buy no lists from data brokers.

What we publish, and how its origin is shown

Every record keeps the source it came from and when it was collected. Where a listing was compiled from a public Google Maps listing, its page says so, and the rating, comments and photos are shown attributed to that origin. Those comments were written by visitors on Google Maps rather than on Dynamics; the business has not reviewed them and we have not edited them.

Who owns what

Names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners. They appear here only to identify the business they belong to, and their presence implies no affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement.

Photographs remain the property of whoever took them or holds the rights. What is shown is drawn from public pages, attributed to its origin, and removed at the rights holder's request.

The directory's own material — its structure, the activity taxonomy, the editorial text we write and the bilingual names and descriptions we prepare — belongs to us. Copying substantial parts of the directory, scraping it, or republishing it is not permitted without written consent.

If you hold rights in something published here

Any rights holder may ask for their material to be removed: a photograph, a logo, a description, or a whole listing. Send the request through the report form or by email, including:

  • the link to the page the material appears on;
  • which material you mean, precisely;
  • your standing — the rights holder, or acting for them;
  • a way to reach you with a reply.

We review every request and act on it, and may come back to you to confirm standing where that is needed. Where a removal is asked for in good faith, our default is to remove rather than to argue.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page whenever the way we collect or publish data changes. The version published here is the one in force.
