Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
Getting listed, correcting or removing a listing, and where the published information comes from.
About the directory
What is Dynamics?
Dynamics is a bilingual directory of businesses and entities in Saudi Arabia. Every listing has its own page in Arabic and English carrying the activity, the city, ways to get in touch and the location on the map — and you can browse by activity, by city, or straight from the map.
Who is behind Dynamics?
Dynamics is one of the products of Wathib, a Saudi research, development and operations company based in Riyadh. There is more on the about page.
Which cities does the directory cover?
The directory is being built city by city. It starts with Riyadh, where almost every listing published so far is located, and other cities are added as their data is collected and checked.
Does a listing mean Dynamics recommends the business?
No. A listing is an entry in an informational directory — not a recommendation, an accreditation or a licence — and it does not create a commercial relationship between us and the listed party.
Listings and how to manage them
How do I add my business to the directory?
Through the add a listing form: the name, the activity, the city, a way to reach you and a short description. Every submission is read by a person before it is published.
Is there a charge for being listed?
No. Adding a business — and correcting or removing it later — is free.
How long does a listing take to appear?
Submissions are reviewed by hand rather than published automatically, so a listing appears once that review is done, not the moment you press send. If anything is unclear we get in touch using the email address or number you submitted.
Something in my listing is wrong. How do I correct it?
Send the page link and the correction through the report content form. It arrives as a tracked request with a status against it, rather than as an email somebody has to remember to action.
How do I remove a listing?
The same form, choosing removal. The page link and a short reason are enough.
Sources and rights
Where do the listings come from?
Two places: what owners send us, and open-source intelligence (OSINT) — information already published on the open web, including public Google Maps listings, official registers and businesses' own websites. We buy nothing from data brokers and collect nothing from behind a login. The copyright and sourcing policy sets this out in full.
My business is listed and I never submitted it. Why?
Because its details were already public, and we compiled them from sources open to anyone — as a directory does. The page is still yours: you can correct it or ask for its removal at any time.
Why does my page show comments and photos from Google Maps?
Where a listing was compiled from a public Google Maps listing, its rating, comments and photos are shown with that origin stated on the page. The comments were written by visitors on Google Maps rather than on Dynamics, and are reproduced as written — the business has not reviewed them and neither have we edited them. If you want any of it taken down, tell us.
Can I ask for a photo or a logo to be taken down?
Yes. Send the page link, say which material you mean, through the report form, and we will deal with it. The copyright policy explains what we publish, why, and how removal requests are handled.
Question not answered here?
Send us a message and we will answer, or report a specific listing if something on its page is wrong.
